My Road to Master Barber
What attracted me to being a barber was the lifestyle — being my own boss, building solid relationships with the guys in my chair, and making people feel good about themselves.
It was a very different direction from being a cop, but I’ve always wanted to produce something with my two hands that I could be proud of. Coming from California, where we pride ourselves on starting trends and feeding culture, barbering felt like the perfect way to bring that to my clients. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and moved to Colorado in 2005. I worked in law enforcement as a police officer for seven years — five in San Francisco and two in Manitou Springs — before following my passion and becoming a barber in 2016. I’ve been licensed since 2017 and love what I do more and more every day.
Once I found my mentor, Mr. Brett Reynolds — a second generation barbershop owner with deep knowledge of all hair types and old school techniques — I jumped in with both feet.
My Chair Today
Come in, sit down, relax and enjoy your time. Walk out refreshed and confident that you look and smell great.
I barber by appointment only so I can focus completely on you. My process starts with a solid consultation to find exactly what you want. I debulk the sides and blend the fade, establish the top with the correct length and style, then clean up around the neck and ears with a straight razor on the nape. A hot towel and shampoo follow, along with a blow dry and any final detail work.
I pride myself on attention to detail, sanitation, and building genuine ongoing relationships with my clients. I love movies, music, muscle cars, martial arts, motorcycles, and any good conversation worth having.
